HomeMy Public PortalAbout11877O R D I N A N C E NO. 11877 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-nine Thousand Dollars
($79,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in CSO -- Jefferson Barracks Subsystem No. 72 –
Mueller Court Stormwater Diversion (2003076C), in St. Louis County, Missouri,
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting,
Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
Seventy-one Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-five Dollars ($71,455.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Seven Thousand Five Hundred Forty-
five Dollars ($7,545.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-nine Thousand Dollars ($79,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in CSO -- Jefferson Barracks Subsystem No. 72 –
Mueller Court Stormwater Diversion (2003076C), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in CSO -- Jefferson Barracks Subsystem No. 72 –
Mueller Court Stormwater Diversion (2003076C), in St. Louis County, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of August, 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
