Thousand Dollars ($2,150,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement
Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the replacement of trickling filter
distributors and appurtenances in Bissell Point Secondary Treatment, Trickling
Filter Distributor Replacement (2002068), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gross
Mechanical Contractors, Inc. for the aforesaid project.
WHEREAS, the bid for said project is Two Million Seventeen
Thousand Dollars ($2,017,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders
is One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Dollars ($133,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($2,150,000.00), is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the replacement of trickling
filter distributors and appurtenances in Bissell Point Secondary Treatment,
Trickling Filter Distributor Replacement (2002068) in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Gross Mechanical Contractors Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the replacement of trickling filter distributors and appurtenances in
Bissell Point Secondary Treatment, Trickling Filter Distributor Replacement
(2002068) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 3rd day of September 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
