Dollars ($310,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for
channel bank stabilization and appurtenances in Coldwater Creek Bank
Stabilization -- Geraldine to Isolda (CLD-12)(2001094); in the Cities of
Breckenridge Hills and St. Ann, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group, for the
aforesaid channel bank stabilization and appurtenances.
WHEREAS, the bid for the channel bank stabilization and
appurtenances is Two Hundred Eighty-one Thousand Four Hundred Forty
Dollars ($281,440.00) and the allowance for construction change orders is
Twenty-eight Thousand Five Hundred Sixty Dollars ($28,560.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars
($310,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project
costs for channel bank stabilization and appurtenances in Coldwater Creek
Bank Stabilization -- Geraldine to Isolda (CLD-12)(2001094), in the Cities of
Breckenridge Hills and St. Ann, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group, as the lowest
responsible bidder for channel bank stabilization and appurtenances in
Coldwater Creek Bank Stabilization -- Geraldine to Isolda (CLD-
12)(2001094), in the Cities of Breckenridge Hills and St. Ann, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8th day of September, 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
