($300,000.00) from the Caulks Creek Construction Fund to be used for project costs
for the construction of Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek “A” (P-750)
Screen/Grinder (93077F), in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gross Mechanical Contractors, Inc. for
the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Two Hundred
Eighty-one Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($281,500.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($18,500.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars
($300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Caulks Creek Construction Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks
Creek “A” (P-750) Screen/Grinder (93077F), in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Gross Mechanical Contractors, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek “A” (P-750)
Screen/Grinder (93077F), in the City of Chesterfield, Missouri, with The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
17th day of September, 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
