HomeMy Public PortalAbout11882O R D I N A N C E NO. 11882 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-four Thousand Dollars
($64,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Pepperhill Drive Storm Sewer (2001090); in
the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Southern Ditching & Excavating Company, for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is
Fifty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Four Dollars ($58,704.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Five Thousand Two Hundred
Ninety-six Dollars (5,296.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixty-four Thousand Dollars
($64,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Pepperhill Drive Storm Sewer
(2001090), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with Southern Ditching & Excavating Company, as
the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Pepperhill Drive Storm Sewer (2001090), in the City of Florissant, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 23rd day of September 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
