HomeMy Public PortalAbout11897O R D I N A N C E NO. 11897 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 11352, adopted October 3,
2002, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof prescribing the salary of the
Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an
emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 11352, adopted October 3, 2002, is hereby
repealed.
Section Two. The salary of the Secretary-Treasurer shall be One
Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($123,600.00), per annum,
payable in equal bi-weekly installments, on and after October 6, 2003.
Section Three. The position of Secretary-Treasurer is essential to the
operation of the District, and the salary for said position must be prescribed without
delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly,
this ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
