($100,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency force main repairs at or
about U.S. Highway 40 and the AmerenUE railroad tracks in the City of
Chesterfield, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the aforesaid emergency repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for emergency force
main repairs at or about U.S. Highway 40 and the AmerenUE railroad tracks in the
City of Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for emergency force main repairs
at or about U.S. Highway 40 and the AmerenUE railroad tracks in the City of
Chesterfield, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2004.
