HomeMy Public PortalAbout11901O R D I N A N C E NO. 11901 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Black Oak & White Birch Court Sanitary Relief (92057), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with On Point Contracting (OPC) for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Three Hundred Forty-three Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-two Dollars ($343,652.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Forty-eight Dollars ($16,348.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($360,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Black Oak & White Birch Court Sanitary Relief (92057), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with On Point Contracting (OPC) as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Black Oak & White Birch Court Sanitary Relief (92057), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of September, 2004. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 2004.
