Dollars ($310,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of Lemay WWTP Ash Lagoon Levee Repair (2004062), in St. Louis
County, Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Goodwin Brothers Construction Company for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction is Two Hundred Eighty-two
Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-two Dollars ($282,882.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Twenty-seven Thousand One Hundred Eighteen
Dollars ($27,118.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars
($310,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of Lemay WWTP Ash Lagoon Levee Repair
(2004062), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Goodwin Brothers Construction Company, as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of Lemay WWTP Ash Lagoon Levee Repair
(2004062), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 13th day of October, 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 9, 2004.
