($22,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Beatrice -- Allen Storm Improvement (2004038); in St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.W. Bommarito
Const. Co. Inc., for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Nineteen
Thousand Three Hundred Ten Dollars ($19,310.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Two Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Dollars
($2,690.0), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-two Thousand Dollars ($22,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Beatrice -- Allen Storm Improvement (2004038), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with J.W. Bommarito Const. Co., Inc., as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Beatrice -- Allen Storm Improvement
(2004038), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 22nd day of November 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 13, 2005.
