Dollars ($664,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Black Creek for the purchase and demolition of certain real
property in the City of Maplewood, Missouri known and numbered as 7772 Weaver
Avenue (Locator No. 21J440451); and 2400 Laclede Station Road (Locator No.
21J421496); and certain real property in the City of Brentwood, Missouri known
and numbered as 414 Hanley Industrial Court (Locator No. 21K640186); and 416
Hanley Industrial Court (Locator No. 21K640203) in Hanley Industrial Court and
West Point Drive Phase II (DCBC-150) 98053A, and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to purchase and demolish said real property for flood mitigation purposes.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Dollars
($664,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek for the purchase and demolition of
certain real property in the City of Maplewood, Missouri known and numbered as
7772 Weaver Avenue (Locator No. 21J440451); and 2400 Laclede Station Road
(Locator No. 21J421496); and certain real property in the City of Brentwood,
Missouri known and numbered as 414 Hanley Industrial Court (Locator No.
21K640186); and 416 Hanley Industrial Court (Locator No. 21K640203) in Hanley
Industrial Court and West Point Drive Phase II (DCBC – 150) 98053A.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
purchase and demolish certain real property in the City of Maplewood, Missouri
known and numbered as 7772 Weaver Avenue (Locator No. 21J440451); and 2400
Laclede Station Road (Locator No. 21J421496); and certain real property in the City
of Brentwood, Missouri known and numbered as 414 Hanley Industrial Court
(Locator No. 21K640186); and 416 Hanley Industrial Court (Locator No.
21K640203) for flood mitigation purposes, for a total purchase price not to exceed
Six Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Dollars ($664,000.00).
Section Three. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of
General Warranty Deeds in proper form conveying title to the above-described real
properties to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the grantors a total sum not to
exceed Six Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Dollars ($664,000.00) for said real
property.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
