HomeMy Public PortalAbout11935O R D I N A N C E NO. 11935 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($162,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Conway & Conwood Storm Channel (2001115); in the Village of Westwood, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., for the construction of the aforesaid storm and sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm and sanitary sewers is One Hundred Fifty-four Thousand Two Hundred Ten Dollars ($154,210.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Dollars ($7,790.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($162,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Conway & Conwood Storm Channel (2001115), in the Village of Westwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd., as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers in Conway & Conwood Storm Channel (2001115), in the Village of Westwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 20th day of December 2004. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 2005.
