Dollars ($113,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Lafayette #1085 Storm Sewer (2003124); in the City
of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Gershenson Const. Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is One
Hundred One Thousand Three Hundred Sixty and 85/100 Dollars ($101,360.85),
and the allowance for construction change orders is Eleven Thousand Six Hundred
Thirty-nine and 15/100 Dollars ($11,639.15), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirteen Thousand Dollars
($113,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Fountain Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Lafayette #1085 Storm Sewer (2003124), in the
City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Gershenson Const. Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Lafayette #1085 Storm Sewer (2003124), in the
City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 11th day of
February 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 14, 2005.
