($46,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Clayton Downs Storm Improvement (2003149); in the City of Frontenac, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with D.H.I.
Contracting, LLC, for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Forty-one
Thousand Seven Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($41,745.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Four Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-five Dollars
($4,255.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-six Thousand Dollars ($46,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Clayton Downs Storm Improvement (2003149), in the City of
Frontenac, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with D.H.I. Contracting, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Clayton Downs Storm Improvement (2003149),
in the City of Frontenac, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 17th
day of February 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 14, 2005.
