($41,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a swale
revetment in Redman Road #2421 (85013); in St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting,
Inc., for the construction of the aforesaid swale revetment.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said swale revetment is Thirty-
seven Thousand Two Hundred Forty-nine and 90/100 Dollars ($37,249.90.00), and
the allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Seven Hundred
Fifty-one Dollars and 10/100 ($3,750.10), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-one Thousand Dollars ($41,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Watkins Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of a swale revetment in Redman Road #2421 (85013), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of a swale revetment in Redman Road #2421 (85013), in St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of February
2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 14, 2005.
