Two Hundred Dollars ($2,600,200.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for project costs for the design and construction of overhead electric supply
lines, a dual substation and heavy underground electrical wiring in Lower Meramec
River Wastewater Treatment Plant Electrical Supply (95066K), in St. Louis County,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Union
Electric Company d/b/a AmerenUE for the aforesaid design and construction.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Six Hundred Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($2,600,200.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the design and construction of
overhead electric supply lines, a dual substation and heavy underground electrical
wiring in Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant Electrical Supply
(95066K), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Union Electric Company d/b/a AmerenUE for design and
construction of overhead electric supply lines, a dual substation and heavy
underground electrical wiring in Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment
Plant Electrical Supply (95066K), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. The contract authorized in Section Two of this
ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being and appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 5, 2005.
