Dollars ($47,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Turquoise Drive #9029 Storm Sewer (2004051); in St. Louis
County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Gershenson Const. Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Forty-three
Thousand One Hundred Twenty-nine Dollars ($43,129.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Four Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-one Dollars
($4,371.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($47,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Turquoise Drive #9029 Storm Sewer (2004051),
in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Gershenson Const. Co., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Turquoise Drive #9029 Storm Sewer (2004051),
in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 14th day
of April 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 2005.
