($505,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in De Hart Place to St. Charles Rock Road Storm Sewer (2002089); in the
City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Four
Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty and 97/100 Dollars
($433,720.97), and the allowance for construction change orders is Seventy-one
Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-nine and 03/100 Dollars ($71,279.03), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Five Thousand Dollars
($505,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in De Hart Place to St. Charles Rock Road Storm
Sewer (2002089), in City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in De Hart Place to St. Charles Rock Road Storm
Sewer (2002089), in City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 19th day of April 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 2005.
