($800,000.00) from the General Fund of the District to be used to repair
discrepancies in unfinished subdivisions in various locations throughout the
District.
WHEREAS, the funds herein appropriated represent escrow deposits
which have been forfeited to the District by developers, and will be used to correct
deficiencies in order to bring sewer facilities within District specifications and
requirements, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars
($800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to be
used to repair discrepancies in unfinished subdivisions in various locations
throughout the District.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 2005.
