HomeMy Public PortalAbout12020O R D I N A N C E NO. 12020 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($525,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Reavis Barracks -- Reav-Tel to Rainbow Separate Sewer Area I/I Reduction (2004071) in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. for the rehabilitation of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the rehabilitation of said sanitary sewers is Four Hundred Ninety-seven Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-three Dollars ($497,293.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-seven Thousand Seven Hundred Seven Dollars ($27,707.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($525,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Reavis Barracks -- Reav-Tel to Rainbow Separate Sewer Area I/I Reduction (2004071) in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Reavis Barracks -- Reav-Tel to Rainbow Separate Sewer Area I/I Reduction (2004071) in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of April 2005. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2005.
