AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Sappington and Alexandra Sanitary
Replacement (Infrastructure Repair) (2005067), in the City of Glendale,
Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11872, adopted October 14,
2004, appropriated the funding for this Infrastructure Repair project,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Sappington and Alexandra Sanitary
Replacement (Infrastructure Repair) (2005067), in the City of Glendale,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of April
2005.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall provide for a fee not to exceed One Hundred Ten
Thousand Dollars ($110,000.00), and shall be comprised of such other
terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2005.
