HomeMy Public PortalAbout12023O R D I N A N C E NO. 12023 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-Four Thousand Dollars
($74,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Sugar Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Corona Park Storm Sewer Phase I (86156), in the City of Kirkwood, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Bommarito
Utilities, LLC for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Sixty-
seven Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($67,150.00) and the allowance for
construction change orders is Six Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars
($6,850.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-Four Thousand Dollars ($74,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Sugar Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Corona Park Storm Sewer Phase I (86156), in the City of
Kirkwood, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Corona Park Storm Sewer Phase I (86156), in
the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 5th day
of May, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2005.
