HomeMy Public PortalAbout12025O R D I N A N C E NO. 12025 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixty-Two Thousand Dollars ($62,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall and appurtenances in Adams at St. Louis Avenue (MCFG- 150) (2002093), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.M. Marschuetz Construction for the construction of the aforesaid project. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of reinforced concrete retaining wall and appurtenances is Fifty-six Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-five and 98/100 ($56,335.98), and the allowance for construction change orders is Five Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-four and 02/100 Dollars ($5,664.02), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Sixty-Two Thousand Dollars ($62,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall and appurtenances in Adams at St. Louis Avenue (MCFG-150) (2002093), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with J.M. Marschuetz Construction as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a reinforced concrete retaining wall and appurtenances in Adams at St. Louis Avenue (MCFG-150) (2002093), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of May 2005. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2005.
