HomeMy Public PortalAbout12026O R D I N A N C E NO. 12026 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars
($39,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Estates Court Storm Sewer (2004045), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting,
Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is Thirty-five
Thousand Four Hundred Sixty-one and 20/100 Dollars ($35,461.20) and the
allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Five Hundred Thirty-
eight and 80/100 Dollars ($3,538.80), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($39,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Estates Court Storm Sewer (2004045), in the City of Ferguson,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Estates Court Storm Sewer (2004045), in the City of
Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of May,
2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2005.
