HomeMy Public PortalAbout12028O R D I N A N C E NO. 12028 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Forty-five Thousand
Dollars ($145,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for the construction
of storm sewers in Sappington and Denny Storm Improvement (2004057), in the
City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Schuster Engineering, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid
storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid construction of said storm sewers is One Hundred
Thirty Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-six Dollars ($130,976.00) and the
allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Twenty-four Dollars
($14,024.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-five Thousand Dollars
($145,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Gravois Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Sappington and Denny Storm Improvement
(2004057), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Schuster Engineering, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Sappington and Denny Storm Improvement
(2004057), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 25th day of May 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 2005.
