HomeMy Public PortalAbout12038O R D I N A N C E NO. 12038 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Eighty
Thousand Dollars ($180,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Ladue Meadows 100
Block (2003121), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for construction of said storm sewers is One
Hundred Sixty-four Thousand Three Hundred Seven Dollars ($164,307.00)
and the allowance for construction change orders is Fifteen Thousand Six
Hundred Ninety-three Dollars ($15,693.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Eighty Thousand
Dollars ($180,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Ladue
Meadows 100 Block (2003121), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Ladue Meadows 100 Block
(2003121), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 17th day of June 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 11, 2005.
