Home My Public Portal About12044O R D I NA N C E NO. 12044 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design of Missouri River Treatment Plant Improvements Phase I – Engineering Construction Services (99076); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 5 and all future amendments required to complete Contract E-1046 with Burns & McDonnell Engineering, Co., Inc. for the aforesaid additional engineering services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11540, adopted October 9, 2003, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1046, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Dollars ($3,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design of Missouri River Treatment Plant Improvements Phase I – Engineering Construction Services (99076). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 5 and all future amendments required to complete Contract E- 1046 with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Co., Inc. for additional engineering services for the final design of Missouri River Treatment Plant Improvements Phase I – Engineering Construction Services (99076); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 11, 2005.
