AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two
Million Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,300,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design of Grand
Glaize WWTP Improvements – Engineering Construction Services (Phase
I)(2003061); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 8
and all future amendments required to complete Contract E-1047 with HDR
Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11541, adopted July 10, 2003, appropriated
the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1047, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Three Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($2,300,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for additional engineering services for the final design of Grand Glaize WWTP
Improvements – Engineering Construction Services (Phase I)(2003061).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 8 and all future amendments required to complete Contract E-
1047 with HDR Engineering, Inc. for additional engineering services for the final
design of Grand Glaize WWTP Improvements – Engineering Construction Services
(Phase I)(2003061); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 11, 2005.
