AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for additional project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Black Oak & White Birch Court
Sanitary Relief (92057), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract amendment with On Point Contracting
(OPC) for the additional costs for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11901, adopted December 9, 2004,
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized the contract for said projects,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for additional project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Black Oak & White Birch Court
Sanitary Relief (92057), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract amendment with On Point Contracting (OPC) for additional project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Black Oak & White Birch Court
Sanitary Relief (92057), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
