AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Nine
Million Seven Hundred Thousand Dollars ($9,700,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for additional construction phase services for Treatment
Plant Construction Phase Services (Coldwater and Lemay) (2003094); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 and all
future amendments required to complete Contract E-1086 with Kennedy
Associates/Architects, Inc. for the aforesaid additional construction phase
services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11683, adopted February 12, 2004,
appropriated the initial funding and authorized Contract E-1086, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Million Seven Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($9,700,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for additional construction phase services for Treatment Plant
Construction Phase Services (Coldwater and Lemay) (2003094).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Amendment No. 3 and all future amendments required to complete
Contract E-1086 with Kennedy Associates/Architects, Inc. for additional
construction phase services for Treatment Plant Improvements Construction
Phase Services (Coldwater and Lemay) (2003094); said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 13, 2005.
