($250,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Black Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Dielman -- Bonaire Storm Sewer (2001079), in the City of Olivette, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with On Point
Contracting (OPC) for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Two
Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Eight Hundred Five Dollars ($226,805.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-three Thousand One Hundred
Ninety-five Dollars ($23,195.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00), is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Dielman -- Bonaire Storm Sewer (2001079), in the
City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with On Point Contracting (OPC) as the lowest responsible bidder
for the construction of storm sewers in Dielman -- Bonaire Storm Sewer (2001079),
in the City of Olivette, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8h day
of August, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 13, 2005.
