Dollars ($161,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of combined sewers in Rhodes Avenue Relief Sewer
(2001148), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC for the construction of the
aforesaid combined sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said combined sewers is
One Hundred Forty-six Thousand Four Hundred Five Dollars ($146,405.00), and
the allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred
Ninety-five Dollars ($14,595.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Dollars
($161,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for project costs for the construction of combined sewers in Rhodes Avenue
Relief Sewer (2001148), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of combined sewers in Rhodes Avenue Relief Sewer (2001148), in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 12th day of August, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 13, 2005.
