HomeMy Public PortalAbout12093O R D I N A N C E NO. 12093 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-one Thousand Dollars
($71,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Meadowgrass Drive and St. Catherine Street Storm Improvement (2004050), in
the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC for the construction of the aforesaid
storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Sixty-
four Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-seven Dollars ($64,377.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Six Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-
three Dollars ($6,623.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-one Thousand Dollars ($71,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Meadowgrass Drive and St. Catherine Street Storm
Improvement (2004050), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Meadowgrass Drive and St. Catherine Street
Storm Improvement (2004050), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 19th day of August, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 13, 2005.
