HomeMy Public PortalAbout12108O R D I N A N C E NO. 12108 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($950,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Reav-Tel Sanitary Relief (2003074),
in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid
sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is
Eight Hundred Ninety-eight Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-three Dollars
($898,333.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Fifty-one
Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($51,667.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($950,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Reav-Tel Sanitary
Relief (2003074), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Reav-Tel Sanitary Relief (2003074), in St. Louis
County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of
September 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 10, 2005.
