from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation)
(FY 2006) (2005119) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform
Technologies USA, Inc. for the aforesaid Infrastructure Repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for Infrastructure Repairs
(Rehabilitation) (FY 2006) (2005119) in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Insituform Technologies USA, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder, for Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (FY 2006) (2005119), in the City
of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened
on the 7th day of October, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 8, 2005.
