HomeMy Public PortalAbout12136O R D I N A N C E NO. 12136 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eighty-one Thousand Dollars
($81,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Lacledes Landing Inflow Reduction (Franklin
Drop Shaft) (2003093), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
Seventy-three Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-one Dollars ($73,231.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-
nine Dollars ($7,769.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eighty-one Thousand Dollars ($81,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Lacledes Landing Inflow Reduction
(Franklin Drop Shaft) (2003093), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Lacledes Landing Inflow Reduction (Franklin
Drop Shaft) (2003093), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 24h day of October, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 8, 2005.
