HomeMy Public PortalAbout12157O R D I N A N C E NO. 12157 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($96,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Monaco Drive – Gascony Way Storm Sewer (2003148), in the City
of Warson Woods, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Eighty-
seven Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-three Dollars ($87,843.00), and the allowance
for construction change orders is Eight Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-seven Dollars
($8,657.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($96,500.00), is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Monaco Drive – Gascony Way Storm Sewer
(2003148), in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Monaco Drive – Gascony Way Storm Sewer
(2003148), in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 29h day of November, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 2006.
