HomeMy Public PortalAbout12160O R D I N A N C E NO. 12160 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-three Thousand Dollars
($43,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in
Anduin-Hollin Storm Sewer (2004056), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting,
Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Thirty-
eight Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-two and 64/100 Dollars ($38,952.64), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Forty-seven and 36/100
Dollars ($4,047.36), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-three Thousand Dollars ($43,000.00), is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in Anduin-Hollin Storm Sewer (2004056), in the City of Des Peres,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Anduin-Hollin Storm Sewer (2004056), in the City
of Des Peres Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8h day of
December, 2005.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 9, 2006.
