HomeMy Public PortalAbout12172O R D I N A N C E NO. 12172 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Dollars ($375,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for contour mapping
services to be utilized for stormwater facility planning, and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Modification No. 6 of the contract with the United
States Army Corps of Engineers whereby the United States Army Corps of
Engineers will provide the District with the aforesaid contour mapping services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11505, adopted June 12, 2003 authorized
said contract, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy-five Thousand
Dollars ($375,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for
contour mapping services to be utilized for stormwater facility planning.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Modification No. 6 of the contract with the United States Army Corps of
Engineers whereby the United States Army Corps of Engineers will provide the
District with contour mapping services to be utilized for stormwater facility
planning.
Section Three. The contract modification authorized in Section Two of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by
the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 9, 2006.
