HomeMy Public PortalAbout12186O R D I N A N C E NO. 12186 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($170,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of Southern Arsenal ORS Interceptor Improvements (I-
203A, I-205, I-206, I-208, I-209, I-210, I-211, I-212) (2003097A), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
KCI Construction Company for the construction of the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said construction is One Hundred Fifty-five
Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-five and 54/100 Dollars ($155,575.54), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Fourteen Thousand Four Hundred
Twenty-four and 46/100 Dollars ($14,424.46), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars
($170,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for project costs for the construction of Southern Arsenal ORS Interceptor
Improvements (I-203A, I-205, I-206, I-208, I-209, I-210, I-211, I-212) (2003097A), in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with KCI Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of Southern Arsenal ORS Interceptor Improvements (I-203A, I-205,
I-206, I-208, I-209, I-210, I-211, I-212) (2003097A), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 7th day of February, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 13, 2006.
