HomeMy Public PortalAbout12198O R DI N A N C E NO. 12198 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Six Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,665,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a concrete channel in Flamingo Park Channel Replacement (CLD-14) (2001116), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mulligan Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid concrete channel. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said concrete channel is One Million Five Hundred Eighty-seven Thousand Five Hundred Forty Dollars ($1,587,540.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Seventy-seven Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Dollars ($77,460.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Six Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,665,000.00), is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a concrete channel in Flamingo Park Channel Replacement (CLD-14) (2001116), in the City of Florissant, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Mulligan Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a concrete channel in Flamingo Park Channel Replacement (CLD-14) (2001116), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 1st day of March, 2006. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 2006.
