Dollars ($139,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac Creek to be used for project costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Country Aire Drive (2005046), in the City of
Town and Country, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is
One Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Four Hundred Forty-three and 20/100 Dollars
($126,443.20), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand
Five Hundred Fifty-six and 80/100 Dollars ($12,556.80), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-nine Thousand Dollars
($139,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Country Aire Drive (2005046),
in the City of Town and Country, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in Country Aire Drive (2005046), in the City of Town
and Country, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of
March, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
