HomeMy Public PortalAbout12228O R D I N A N C E NO. 12228 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($2,360,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-10 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief Phase III (89129B), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is Two Million One Hundred Forty-nine Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-two Dollars ($2,149,522.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Two Hundred Ten Thousand Four Hundred Seventy- eight Dollars ($210,478.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Three Hundred Sixty Thousand Dollars ($2,360,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-10 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief Phase III (89129B), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-10 Creve Coeur Creek Sanitary Relief Phase III (89129B), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 10th day of April, 2006. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted 6/8/06.
