HomeMy Public PortalAbout12246O R D I N A N C E NO. 12246 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($115,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Chaminade Dr. #14 and #13 Storm Improvements
(2005128), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC for the construction
of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One
Hundred Four Thousand Three Hundred Forty Dollars ($104,340.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Ten Thousand Six Hundred Sixty
Dollars ($10,660.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($115,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur Frontenac to be used for project
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Chaminade Dr. #14 and #13 Storm
Improvements (2005128), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for
the construction of storm sewers in Chaminade Dr. #14 and #13 Storm
Improvements (2005128), in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 10th day of May, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 6, 2006.
