Dollars ($145,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in East Drive - Country Club Drive Storm Sewer Improvements
(2004043), in the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. for the construction
of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is One
Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-seven Dollars
($127,887.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Seven Thousand
One Hundred Thirteen Dollars ($17,113.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Dollars
($145,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in East Drive - Country Club Drive Storm Sewer
Improvements Phase I (2004043) the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the
construction of storm sewers in East Drive - Country Club Drive Storm Sewer
Improvements (2004043), in the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 24th day of May, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 6, 2006.
