HomeMy Public PortalAbout12251O R I N A N C E NO. 12251 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand Dollars
($226,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Deer Creek to reimburse the City of Glendale, Missouri for the costs of
construction of stormwater improvements as undertaken by said City in Monier
Place Storm Sewer (2001087); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a contract with the City of Glendale, Missouri whereby the District will
reimburse said City for the construction of said stormwater improvements.
WHEREAS, the City of Glendale, Missouri has undertaken the construction
of said stormwater improvements, and
WHEREAS, the District is willing to reimburse the City of Glendale,
Missouri for the costs of said stormwater improvements, and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Eighty-six
Thousand Dollars ($86,000.00) toward the costs of said project; upon the receipt of
such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One The sum of Two Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand Dollars
($226,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance, and
Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to reimburse the City of Glendale,
Missouri for the costs of construction of stormwater improvements as undertaken by
said City in Monier Place Storm Sewer (2001087).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with the City of Glendale, Missouri whereby the District will reimburse
said City for the cost of construction of stormwater improvements as undertaken by
said City in Monier Place Storm Sewer (2001087); said contract to be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of
the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
