HomeMy Public PortalAbout12265 O R D I N A N C E NO. 12265 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Four Thousand
Dollars ($104,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Rhodes Avenue Relief
Sewer Phase II (2001148A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL
Contracting, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers
is Ninety-three Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($93,895.00),
and the allowance for construction change orders is Ten Thousand One
Hundred Five Dollars ($10,105.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Four Thousand Dollars
($104,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Rhodes
Avenue Relief Sewer Phase II (2001148A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Rhodes Avenue Relief Sewer
Phase II (2001148A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 15th day of June, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 2006.
