HomeMy Public PortalAbout12266 O R D I N A N C E NO. 12266 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Forty-five
Thousand Dollars ($445,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be
used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Arban
Sanitary Relief (SKME-509) (2003059), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Bommarito Utilities, LLC for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers
is Four Hundred Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-five Dollars
($412,945.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-two
Thousand Fifty-five Dollars ($32,055.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Forty-five Thousand
Dollars ($445,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Arban Sanitary Relief (SKME-509) (2003059), in the City of Crestwood,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with Bommarito Utilities, LLC as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in Arban Creek
Sanitary Relief (SKME-509) (2003059), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 19th day of June, 2006.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 2006.
