HomeMy Public PortalAbout12276O R D I N A N C E NO. 12276 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency procurement of equipment
and services necessitated by the storm incident and power outage in the St. Louis
metropolitan area on and after July 19, 2006; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into contracts for such equipment and services as are necessary to
keep the District operational.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($250,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency Fund for the emergency
procurement of equipment and services necessitated by the storm incident and
power outage in the St. Louis metropolitan area on and after July 19, 2006.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into such contracts for the emergency procurement of equipment and services
necessitated by the storm incident and power outage in the St. Louis metropolitan
area on and after July 19, 2006 as are necessary to keep the District operational;
said contracts to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 2006.
