($400,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to compensate individual
homeowners for the loss of attached garages as part of an overall infiltration/inflow
reduction program in UR-03 Upper River Des Peres Sanitary Relief Phase II –
Inflow Reduction (90084D1), in the City of University City, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the City of University City, Missouri has undertaken a
voluntary buyout program for flood protection in which the District may participate
in order to compensate homeowners for the loss of attached garages, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars
($400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
compensate individual homeowners for the loss of attached garages as part of an
overall infiltration/inflow reduction program in UR-03 Upper River Des Peres
Sanitary Relief Phase II – Inflow Reduction (90084D1), in the City of University
City, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
